The Island Life and Boho Style

Featured above is a recent adventure filled afternoon exploring a ruined treasure at our local beach on Coronado island. (Well… a treasure for us, but a nightmare for the owner!).  Dressed in a bohemian skirt from Australian brand, Portmans (you can snag this boho style skirt at my e-Bay store), straw hat and a top that I picked up at Goodwill. It was such a carefree day playing on the beach. I was shocked to see that a sail boat had washed up on the shore after an El Nino storm had blown through San Diego just 24 hours earlier. As you can see the poor sail boat was completely totaled, but tragic scene had too much potential to pass undocumented. Any fears of height I typically possess quickly vanished with the receding tidal wave. My inner pirate seemed to take over. I felt the urge to conquer the ship and climb her mast. It looked like too much fun to pass up.

Some of my favorite days are those that I take the time with my loved ones and find the beauty tucked away right in our back yard. I’m so grateful for that special time with JAG (my soulmate and talented photographer), and the opportunity to create new magical memories together by the water. And I LOVE exploring hidden treasures on Coronado island. Island life is simply fabulous!

If you love the bohemian skirt that is featured in the post as much as I do, you can buy the skirt at my e-Bay store called "TheWaterWanderer".

With love + blessings,

Elise
